How Am I Progressing?
At the end of every term every student will be graded. This will assist every player in knowing their progression.
Students will also be notified if they are ready to be upgraded to more suitable class or if they are ready for competition tennis.
Practice Tips
All students who are enrolled in the tennis school need to practice to complement the tennis lessons. Often students attend a 30 minute or 1 hour session once a week and that is where it stops.
Some PRACTICE TIPS are set out below:

Hire a court with a friend or parent. For the younger students aged 3-10 years parents should purchase 2 dozen tennis balls, a plastic bucket and either throw the balls or hit the balls to the player at the other end as the coaches do in lesson.

Find a brick wall nearby and hit against the wall. You can practice all your shots including your serve against the wall.

Children aged 3-6 years. Play tennis inside the house with a balloon. This is ideal for the younger students as the balloon is large therefore the children have more success making contact. The balloon floats slowly which once again assist younger children making contact.

Competition players. Hire a court whenever possible and practice against as many different players as possible. Always ensure the player you are practicing with is of similar standard.
